After publishing our book NEEDS Selling Solutions in 2009, we formed our consulting company to deliver individual solutions to organizations seeking growth. We remain a small, focused company where you work directly with at least one owner on every project. We deliver results, and are never satisfied until our customer is. Here’s a little information about our backgrounds.

Gary McGugan 2014Gary McGugan is a successful business leader, speaker, and author. Prior to co-founding NEEDS Selling Solutions he held senior leadership roles with subsidiary companies of Suzuki Motor Co. Ltd., ITT Corporation, Deutsche Bank AG, and General Electric Company.

His career has focused on development of new products, new markets, and new selling innovations in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Gary has started ‘green-field’ business units, recruiting and developing completely new sales forces to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets. He has worked with already- established and under-performing sales teams that required re-focus and new direction to achieve success. And he continues to observe day-to-day selling efforts and effectiveness in a wide range of industries.

Gary uniquely understands the growth challenges associated with distribution networks. He has managed or consulted with companies selling products as diverse as technology, consumer appliances, automobiles, motorcycles, furniture, recreation vehicles and marine products in addition to commercial financing, asset-based lending, and other fee-based services.

Jeff Allen BioJeff Allen is an entrepreneur with deep experience acquired in the financial services industry. Over his successful career he has worked with subsidiaries of Borg Warner Corporation, ITT Corporation, Deutsche Bank AG and General Electric Company.

Jeff builds and manages key customer and partner relationships over a wide range of industries. He manages sales teams and facilitates training throughout North America and Europe. He thrives in classroom settings as well as in one-on-one consultations.

He develops and delivers customized solutions to achieve company growth requirements in industries ranging from power sports to technology, and is also the founder and President of Cheyson Business Services, a third-party provider of products and services that enhance company value propositions and return on capital.

Jeff’s consulting and training methods focus on the development of company teams and their interactions with customers to deliver products and services more effectively, and he practices the principles explained in NEEDS Selling Solutions every working day.
